Description
Save 9 ready patch is an instant repair pre-mix and ready to use material for permanent repair of pot-holes/cracks and depression on the blacktop roads and concrete surface. It is perfectly designed to withstand the extreme temperature (0C to 60C) and heavy traffic conditions. Also due to its flexibility, it adopts perfect in nature. It is modified all weather bitumen premix consists of nominal graded aggregate, chemicals, anti stripping agents and additives. Save 9 Ready Patch is specially formulated for the immediate & permanent repair of potholes, cracks, depressions and broken areas in tarmacadam, asphalt concrete surfaces. It is ideally suited for Indian roads and is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and heavy traffic.
APPLICATION METHOD
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove all loose gravel, dirt, oil, grease and foreign matter by jet of dry air. Ensure that the surface is structurally sound and dry. In case of new concrete road, concrete is at least 28 days old. Ambient temperature is not less than 5°C and not more than 35°C at the time of application. There is no standing water in the area to be repaired or in the area of application. Mechanically grinding the surface is acceptable only when sand blasting is not possible. Saw cut area to be repaired in geometrical shape.
MATERIAL PREPARATION
Stir Component A thoroughly for uniformity. Mix component A (Resin) & component C (Aggregate) thoroughly by using speed drill mixer with a spiral type blade at the bottom of stirrer rod till homogeneous mix is obtained. Then add component B (Hardener) slowly, ensuring complete dispersion. Mix for a minimum of 2–3 minutes.
APPLICATION OF MATERIAL
Directly pour mixed material into the cracks, finish surface with trowel if required. Allow it to dry at least two hours before opening traffic. Curing time will vary according to weather conditions.
PRECAUTIONS WHILE USING READY PATCH

Pothole filling should not be carried out under heavy rains or when there is a constant flow of water over the surface which has to be repaired.

Loose earth should not be filled in potholes before applying road patching material.

For large potholes (pothole site more than 0.5 sq. meter), depending on the depth of pothole, 4–5 mm stone aggregates should be used as the bottom layer to provide the base for bedrock.
